1. The voyage

Levantades is a private sailing yacht (1960, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Cantieri Costaguta of Genova) operated by Roman from her home harbour at Rijeka Dubrovačka. A reservation buys you the boat and the skipper for six hours, on a single day, for up to six guests. The base charter price is €949 — the same whether one guest sails or six.

2. What is included

• Two crew members for the day
• Welcome drink and Levantades-branded refreshments and snack
• Snorkelling gear and SUP
• All fuel
• Full vessel and passenger insurance

Not included: lunch, taxis or transfers to and from the harbour, and any personal expenses ashore.

3. How to book

You pick a date, a departure time (10:00 or 17:00), and a number of guests on the booking page. Submitting the form places your reservation on hold and emails you the bank-transfer details. Your day is secured once we receive your transfer; until then a tentative hold is kept but the date remains available to other guests after seventy-two hours.

4. Cancellation and changes

Full refund for any cancellation made more than twenty-four hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations made later than that, or no-shows on the morning, are non-refundable. Dates and times can be changed once at no charge subject to availability; a second change is treated as a cancellation.

5. Weather and safety

We decide whether the weather and sea state are safe to sail. If we cannot sail because of conditions, you may either reschedule for any open date in the season at no charge, or receive a full refund. Once we are at sea the skipper may alter the route or shorten the day if conditions change — passenger safety is the only criterion.

6. Conduct on board

• Soft soles or bare feet on the teak decks. Hard heels and street shoes stay on the quay.
• No loud music — bring your conversation, the sea is the soundtrack.
• Smoking only on the stern deck, well away from the sails and the cushions.
• Children are welcome under their parents’ direct supervision. Life jackets are aboard for every guest; under-twelves wear them whenever sails are up.
• You bring your own swimsuit, sunscreen, hat and a light layer for the sail home.

7. Liability

Levantades is fully insured for vessel and passengers under Croatian charter regulations. Beyond that statutory cover, the skipper and owner are not liable for personal belongings left aboard or ashore, for loss or damage to phones, cameras, or other valuables, or for medical conditions not disclosed at booking. Guests sail at their own risk and follow the skipper’s instructions at all times.

8. Capacity

The vessel is licensed for up to six guests plus two crew. We cannot accept additional guests on the day, regardless of how the reservation was made.

9. Force majeure

If we are unable to perform the charter because of circumstances outside our reasonable control — extreme weather, a sudden harbour closure, a public emergency — we will reschedule or refund as set out in clause 5. We are not responsible for consequential costs such as flights, accommodation or onward travel.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Dubrovnik. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Croatian law.
